There's no such thing as a dry season in the Amazon rainforest. It basically rains all year long! The climate in The Amazon is called tropical climate, also known as the equatorial climate. This means the temperature around the equator is hot, and humid all year round. The average temperature throughout the year is approximately 27 degrees Celsius. Though during the very hot months, the temperature never usually reaches over 33 degrees Celsius. In Canada, our temperature varies quite prominently form day to night. In the Amazon, the temperature difference between day and night is usually only 2-5 degrees Celsius difference. This is to make sure that all the organisms in the rainforest are in the proper temperature. the climate in the Amazon is very sensitive, and that's why we need to protect it.
